JRCS Important Notice of Discontinuation of Products PMS of JACOM-22

First of all, thank you very much for your kind cooperation and strong support to JRCS!
We very kindly inform you that below products are discontinued or step into a general maintenance.
However, due to the recent difficulty in obtaining semiconductor parts and the accelerated end-of-life of parts,
there is a risk that we may no longer be able to supply the maintenance items.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your understanding in the following.
Please confirm the detail as the attached file or below:

Discontinued Model: JACOM-22 units
(MAIN UNIT/ ALARM INTERFACE UNIT / DISPLAY UNIT / OPERATION UNIT.)
Date of discontinuation of regular sales / technical support
Discontinuation of regular sales (extended sales period of 1 year): December 31, 2022 (December 31, 2023)
Discontinuation of technical support: December 31, 2032
We will manufacture and store the PMS for maintenance before the discontinuation of regular sales of the PMS, but the number of PMS that can be manufactured is limited.
Please consider the number of years your vessel will be in service, and consider replacing parts of the PMS.
(Generally, the recommended replacement period for industrial computer equipment such as PLCs is eight years.)
Sales will be discontinued as soon as the maintenance stock of the PMS units runs out.
Please note that after the discontinuation of the PMS units, we will replace them with alternative models (successors) for maintenance.

Successor Model：JACOM-55
Replacement of a discontinued model with its successor will require incidental work such as modification of the board surface or control circuit.
The cost and period of work will vary depending on the structure of the existing switchboard.
It would be appreciated if you could contact our sales representatives for the details.
