To whom it may concern,
Since 2020, there has been a logistics struggle due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic. JRC
has had difficulties supplying certain consumable parts for specific equipment types.
This letter is meant to inform you that the following part for the JCY-1800 VDR is not available
at this time and will not become available until later this year.
Part: UPS Battery replacement kit # 7ZXJD0095
These kits are currently out of stock in our global warehouses, but JRC is doing everything
possible to expedite delivery.
At this time, expected delivery date for these kits will be September 2022. We do apologize
for any inconvenience.
Regarding the related COC certificate issuance for the JCY-1800, JRC will issue a COC if the
APT is completed with a battery that has not expired. A VDR with counterfeit batteries will not
receive a certificate until the battery is replaced with a genuine battery kit.
If the battery has expired before COC is issued and no replacement unit is available, no COC
certificate will be issued until the battery is replaced. However, the APT data is still valid and
the COC can be issued using that data after the battery has been replaced. JRC will not be
responsible for the follow up visit to replace the battery once the batteries become available.
